January 5, 2023: Austin, PA 16720 The Austin Panthers basketball team (Austin, PA), dropped 58-41 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Cowanesque Valley Indians (Westfield, PA)
The Indians now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canton for a Northern Tier battle on Friday, January 6. Cowanesque Valley will battle a Warriors team coming off a 68-21 league loss to Troy (Troy, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-4.
The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Otto-Eldred (Duke Center, PA). The Terrors come into the North Tier battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Otto-Eldred beat Galeton (Galeton, PA), 59-33, in a league battle.
