February 12, 2010: Wichita, KS 67204 The Word of Life Fire (Wichita, KS) basketball knocked off the visiting Olpe Eagles (Olpe, KS), 59-48 in Friday's non-league test.
The Fire (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Derby HomeSchool (Derby, KS). The go into the non-league test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, Derby HomeSchool topped Ark City Christian Academy (Arkansas City, KS), 70-46, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northern Heights for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 16. Olpe will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 49-48 non-league win over Council Grove (Council Grove, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-9.
