April 4, 2024: Lexington, KY 40509 The Frederick Douglass Broncos baseball team (Lexington, KY), was overwhelmed 10-5 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA)
The Blue Devils now hold a 19-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Veterans for a 6A Area 1 outing on Tuesday, April 9. Tift County will face a Warhawks team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Jones County (Gray, GA). The Warhawks record now stands at 12-9.
Next, the Broncos face the Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY) in a District 42 outing, on Tuesday, April 9. Frederick Douglass will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record.
