The Mercer Mustangs football team (Mercer, PA), was knocked off 26-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Reynolds Raiders (Greenville, PA)

The Raiders (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Farrell (Farrell, PA). The Steelers come into the District 10 Region 1 challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Farrell knocked off Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA), 58-6, in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Eisenhower for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 17. Mercer will meet a Knights team coming off a 55-14 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, PA). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.
