January 6, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23320 The Kempsville Chiefs (Virginia Beach, VA) basketball crushed the host Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA), 76-24 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Chiefs (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Marlins go into the Beach test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Bayside was trounced by Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA), 60-39, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Kellam for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 11. Oscar Smith will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 64-22 league loss to Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA). The Knights record now stands at 4-5.
