The Surgeons now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gompers Prep Academy for a Patriot battle on Thursday, January 24. Health Sciences will battle a Eagles team coming off a 50-43 league loss to Bayfront Charter (Chula Vista, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-9.
The Royals (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against King-Chavez Community (San Diego, CA). The Vaqueros come into the Pioneer battle with a 1-9 record. In their last battle, King-Chavez Community was routed by Bonsall (Bonsall, CA), 77-26, in a league battle.
