Nebraska High School Basketball - Ravenna topped by Minden
January 10, 2012: Ravenna, NE 68869 The Minden Whippets basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the host Ravenna Bluejays to 49 in the Whippets non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Whippets now sport a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Cecilia for a C1 District 9 bout on Thursday, January 12. Minden will play a Bluehawks squad coming off a 47-44 non-league win over Boone Central (Albion, NE). The Bluehawks record now stands at 9-2.
Next up, the Bluejays play the Shelton Bulldogs (Shelton, NE) in a C2 District 4 bout, on Thursday, January 12. Ravenna will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-0 record after their 64-35 non-league win over Loup City (Loup City, NE).
