Nebraska High School Basketball - St. Cecilia holds off Boone Central
January 10, 2012: Albion, NE 68620 St. Cecilia Bluehawks (Hastings, NE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Boone Central Cardinals (Albion, NE), 47-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Cecilia upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Bluehawks host Minden (Minden, NE) to play the Whippets in a C1 District 9 bout on Thursday, January 12. The Whippets come into the bout with a record of 11-1. Minden won 68-49 in their recent non-league bout against Ravenna (Ravenna, NE)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Madison Dragons (Madison, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 13. Boone Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 39-14 non-league win over Logan View (Hooper, NE).
