The Superior Spartans (Superior, WI) basketball knocked off the host Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN), 50-39 in Friday's non-league test.

The Spartans (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Eau Claire North notched a victory over New Richmond (New Richmond, WI), 69-60, in a league test.
