Manitou Springs Mustangs (Manitou Springs, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting The Vanguard School Coursers (Colorado Springs, CO), 85-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Manitou Springs upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Florence (Florence, CO) to play the Huskies in a 3A Tri-Peaks bout on Wednesday, February 2. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Florence won 64-51 in their recent league bout against Lamar (Lamar, CO)
