New York High School Basketball - Brighton tops Eastridge
December 2, 2023: Rochester, NY 14622 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Brighton Bruins (Rochester, NY) and the host Eastridge Lancers (Rochester, NY), saw Brighton's basketball squad knock off Eastridge by a tally of 70-60.
With the victory, Brighton improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bruins host Rush-Henrietta (Henrietta, NY) to play the Royal Comets in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 6. The Royal Comets come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Rush-Henrietta lost 56-49 in their recent league challenge against Fairport (Fairport, NY)
Next up, the Lancers play the Canandaigua Academy Braves (Canandaigua, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 6. Eastridge will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 67-42 non-league win over Penn Yan Academy (Penn Yan, NY).
