New York High School Basketball - Irondequoit tops Brighton
January 3, 2024: Rochester, NY 14617 Irondequoit Eagles (Rochester, NY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Brighton Bruins (Rochester, NY), 61-46 in a league bout.
With the victory, Irondequoit upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Victor (Victor, NY) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Victor won 63-50 in their recent league bout against Canandaigua Academy (Canandaigua, NY)
Next up, the Bruins play the Hilton Cadets (Hilton, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Brighton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Cadets come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 69-62 league win over Webster Thomas (Webster, NY).
