The Wheeling Wildcats basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the host Ridgewood Rebels to 34 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 12-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rolling Meadows for a Mid-Suburban - East contest on Friday, February 11. Wheeling will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 89-82 non-league loss to Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 24-4.

The Rebels (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL). The Chargers come into the Metro Suburban contest with a 4-21 record. In their last contest, Aurora Central Catholic was routed by Ridgewood (Norridge, IL), 50-48, in a league contest.
