The Central Blue Devils (Newark, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ), 77-69 in Monday's non-league test.

The Blue Devils (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ). The go into the Super Essex - Liberty test with a 11-11 record. In their last test, Caldwell went down by Livingston (Livingston, NJ), 40-38, in a league test.

The Mounties now own a 8-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Essex County Vo-Tech for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 9. Montclair will clash with a Terriers squad coming off a 49-38 league win over Morris County Vo-Tech (Denville, NJ). The Terriers record now stands at 1-1.
