Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ), witnessed Desert Vista's softball squad tip Highland by a count of 3-2.

The Thunder now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Westwood for a non-league match on Thursday, April 22. Desert Vista will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 11-3 league loss to Dobson (Mesa, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Highland moves to 4-8 on the season. The Hawks host Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ) to meet the Jaguars in a 6A Central match on Friday, April 23. The Jaguars go into the match with a record of 9-4. Desert Ridge lost 6-4 in their recent league match against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ)
