September 29, 2023: Rome, GA 30165 The Coosa Eagles football team (Rome, GA), was ripped 49-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA)
The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Indians come into the A D1 Region 7 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Chattooga was ripped by Armuchee (Rome, GA), 27-20, in a league outing.
With the loss, Coosa moves to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Trion (Trion, GA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a A D1 Region 7 outing on Friday, October 6. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 5-0. Trion won 28-21 in their recent league outing against Dade County (Trenton, GA)
