Indiana High School Basketball - Mississinewa nudges Western

January 20, 2024: Russiaville, IN 46979

Mississinewa Indians (Gas City, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN), 55-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mississinewa upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Indians travel to Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN) to clash with the Tigers in a Central Indiana bout on Friday, January 26. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Alexandria-Monroe lost 71-45 in their recent league bout against Oak Hill (Converse, IN)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Western will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record.
