In Friday's non-league outing, the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) basketball squad beat the visiting Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ), by a margin of 64-50.

The Pumas (29-1) will now prepare for their outing against Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 25-5 record. In their last outing, Sunnyslope defeated Basha (Chandler, AZ), 70-47, in a non-league outing.
