Texas High School Volleyball - Lovejoy can't hold off King
August 28, 2010: Lucas, TX 75002 The Lovejoy Leopards volleyball team (Lucas, TX), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting King Mustangs (Corpus Christi, TX)
The Mustangs (23-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 13-12 record. In their last challenge, Canyon nudged San Marcos (San Marcos, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Leopards encounter the Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 31. Lovejoy will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Magnolia (Magnolia, TX).
