The Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) football defeated the visiting Mountain Home Bombers (Mountain Home, AR), 49-28 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Hurricane face the Searcy Lions (Searcy, AR) in a 7A/6A East bout, on Friday, October 25. Jonesboro will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 3-4 record after their 52-0 league loss to North Little Rock (North Little Rock, AR).
