The Connellsville Falcons basketball squad (Connellsville, PA), was trounced 47-17 in Monday's league test with the visiting Upper St. Clair Panthers (Upper St. Clair, PA)

The Panthers (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Blue Devils go into the WPIAL 6A 2 test with a 15-3 record. In their last test, Mt. Lebanon walloped Peters Township (McMurray, PA), 63-31, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Hempfield Area for a WPIAL 6A 2 battle on Thursday, February 6. Connellsville will confront a Spartans team coming off a 65-46 league loss to Baldwin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-11.
