California High School Baseball - Arcata loses to Grants Pass
May 2, 2014: Arcata, CA 95521 The Arcata Tigers baseball team (Arcata, CA), was overwhelmed 12-0 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR)
The Cavemen now hold a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crater for a 6A Special District 1 outing on Tuesday, May 6. Grants Pass will clash with a Comets team coming off a 10-4 league win over South Medford (Medford, OR). The Comets record now stands at 16-4.
The Tigers (12-5) will now prepare for their game against Fortuna (Fortuna, CA). The Huskies go into the Humboldt-Del Norte - Big 5 game with a 15-7 record. In their last game, Fortuna overcame Del Norte (Crescent City, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
