The Centennial Broncos football team (Utica, NE), was ripped 35-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Battle Creek Braves (Battle Creek, NE)

The Braves (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponca (Ponca, NE). The Indians come into the C2 District 4 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Ponca was ripped by Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE), 51-14, in a non-league challenge.

The Broncos now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Milford for a C2 District 1 challenge on Friday, September 23. Centennial will meet a Eagles team coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 0-4.
