Kentucky High School Basketball - Pineville crushes Thomas Walker
January 4, 2024: Pineville, KY 40977 Pineville Mountain Lions (Pineville, KY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA), 71-33 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pineville upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Mountain Lions travel to Jackson County (McKee, KY) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Generals come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Jackson County won 74-60 in their recent league bout against Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY)
Next up, the Pioneers play the J.I. Burton Black Raiders (Norton, VA) in a Cumberland bout, on Friday, January 5. Thomas Walker will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Black Raiders come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 63-60 league win over Castlewood (Castlewood, VA).
