Delaware High School Basketball - Glasgow can't hold off DuPont
February 8, 2022: Wilmington, DE 19807 The DuPont Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Glasgow Dragons to 50 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brandywine for a Blue Hen Flight - B contest on Thursday, February 10. DuPont will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-39 league win over Christiana (Newark, DE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-7.
The Dragons (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Freire Charter School Wilmington (Wilmington, DE). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Freire Charter School Wilmington was nudged by Indian River (Dagsboro, DE), 55-43, in a non-league contest.
