October 8, 2021: Naruna, VA 24576 The Nelson County Governors football team (Lovingston, VA), was ripped 48-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Campbell Generals (Naruna, VA)
The Generals (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers come into the Dogwood challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Chatham was ripped by Martinsville (Martinsville, VA), 29-21, in a non-league challenge.
The Governors now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Appomattox County for a Dogwood challenge on Friday, October 15. Nelson County will meet a Raiders team coming off a 56-18 league win over Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-1.
