December 29, 2023: Euless, TX 76039 The Lamar Vikings basketball team (Arlington, TX), was overwhelmed 47-23 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Trinity Trojans (Euless, TX)
The Trojans now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Crowley for a 6A Region I District 3 battle on Tuesday, January 2. Trinity will confront a Panthers team coming off a 51-48 non-league loss to Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-7.
The Vikings (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Martin (Arlington, TX). The Warriors come into the 6A Region I District 8 battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Martin was overwhelmed by Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX), 52-40, in a non-league battle.
