September 29, 2023: Layton, UT 84041 The Layton Lancers football team (Layton, UT), was beaten 31-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Davis Darts (Kaysville, UT)
The Darts (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Farmington (Farmington, UT). The Phoenix come into the 6A Region 1 challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Farmington was beaten by Weber (Pleasant View, UT), 30-27, in a league challenge.
The Lancers now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they host Syracuse for a 6A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, October 5. Layton will meet a Titans team coming off a 42-7 league win over Fremont (Plain City, UT). The Titans record now stands at 6-2.
