The Carroll Cougars (Flora, IN) basketball crushed the host Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN), 64-42 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars (11-0) will now prepare for their test against Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN). The Trojans go into the Hoosier Heartland test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Tri-Central walloped Anderson Prep Academy (Anderson, IN), 67-27, in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 2-10 record. They play next when they host West Central for a non-league outing on Friday, January 21. Pioneer will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 70-39 non-league loss to Caston (Fulton, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 2-11.
