North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Northwood overwhelms Union Pines

March 29, 2023: Pittsboro, NC 27312

The Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC), 18-7 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Northwood upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Chargers host Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league outing on Monday, April 3. The Buccaneers go into the outing with a record of 1-9. Jack Britt won 9-5 in their recent league outing against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC)

With the defeat, Union Pines drops to 4-7 on the season. The Vikings travel to Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a United 8/All American/Sandhills outing on Thursday, March 30. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 8-3. Terry Sanford won 14-5 in their recent league outing against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC)
