December 29, 2022: Hartford, SD 57033 The West Central Trojans basketball team (Hartford, SD), was overwhelmed 67-35 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Jefferson Cavaliers (Sioux Falls, SD)
The Cavaliers now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rapid City Central for a AA battle on Friday, January 6. Jefferson will confront a Cobblers team coming off a 60-37 league loss to Stevens (Rapid City, SD). The Cobblers record now stands at 2-2.
The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Vermillion (Vermillion, SD). The Tanagers come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Vermillion trounced Tri-Valley (Colton, SD), 58-39, in a non-league battle.
