The Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX) basketball nipped the host Tornillo Coyotes (Tornillo, TX), 26-21 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Scorpions (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Burges (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Burges got by Clint (Clint, TX), 72-47, in a non-league test.
