The Cactus Cobras basketball team (Glendale, AZ), dropped 84-69 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ)

The Scorpions now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Peoria for a 4A West Valley battle on Tuesday, February 4. Desert Edge will battle a Panthers team coming off a 77-60 league win over Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 20-3.

The Cobras (13-10) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights come into the 4A West Valley battle with a 9-13 record. In their last battle, Lake Havasu dropped by Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ), 69-40, in a non-league test.
