In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Purchase Line Red Dragons (Commodore, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA), by a count of 61-53.

The Red Dragons (2-10) will now prepare for their outing against Portage (Portage, PA). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 11-1 record. In their last outing, Portage defeated Penns Manor (Clymer, PA), 67-65, in a league outing.

The Vikings now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Harmony Area for a non-league outing on Friday, January 6. Blacklick Valley will clash with a Owls squad coming off a 67-52 non-league win over Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Owls record now stands at 6-1.
