Massachusetts High School Basketball - Hopedale tops Sutton
January 19, 2024: Sutton, MA 01590 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hopedale Blue Raiders (Hopedale, MA) and the host Sutton Sammies (Sutton, MA), saw Hopedale's basketball squad knock off Sutton by a count of 36-28.
With the victory, Hopedale upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Blue Raiders host Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA) to play the Warriors in a Dual Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 7-3. Nipmuc Regional lost 62-51 in their recent league challenge against Douglas (Douglas, MA)
Next up, the Sammies play the Blackstone-Millville Chargers (Blackstone, MA) in a Dual Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Sutton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 50-34 league win over Whitinsville Christian (Whitinsville, MA).
