North Carolina High School Football - Jordan-Matthews crushed by Cummings

Cummings Cavaliers (Burlington, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the host Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 54-6 in a league test.

With the triumph, Cummings improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC) to battle the Buccaneers in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina test on Friday, September 8. The Buccaneers come into the test with a record of 1-2. Bartlett Yancey won 20-0 in their recent league test against Graham (Graham, NC)

With the loss, Jordan-Matthews drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Jets travel to Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC) to battle the Bears in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina test on Friday, September 8. The Bears come into the test with a record of 0-3. Chatham Central lost 55-6 in their recent league test against Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC)
