Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) and the visiting T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC), saw Asheville's basketball squad hold off T.C. Roberson by a tally of 49-45.

With the victory, Asheville improves its record to 19-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host McDowell (Marion, NC) to confront the Titans in a 3A/4A Conference 53 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. McDowell won 54-42 in their recent league challenge against Enka (Enka, NC)
