New Jersey High School Basketball - Montclair Kimberley Academy nips Kent Place
February 15, 2024: Montclair, NJ 07042 Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars (Montclair, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kent Place Dragons (Summit, NJ), 35-28 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Montclair Kimberley Academy upgrades its record to 14-10 on the season. The Cougars host St. Vincent Academy (Newark, NJ) to play the in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The go into the bout with a record of 7-6. St. Vincent Academy lost 69-47 in their recent non-league bout against Shabazz (Newark, NJ)
Next up, the Dragons play the Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs (Englewood, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Kent Place will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 57-22 non-league loss to Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ).
