The William Penn Colonials football team (New Castle, DE), was knocked off 20-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE)

The Golden Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Salesianum (Wilmington, DE). The Sallies come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Salesianum knocked off Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE), 28-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Colonials now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Penn Wood for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 11. William Penn will meet a Patriots team coming off a 31-8 non-league loss to Avon Grove (West Grove, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
