In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Albany Lions (Albany, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Newcastle Bobcats (Newcastle, TX), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Lions battle the Munday Moguls (Munday, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 17. Albany will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Moguls go into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Bryson (Bryson, TX).
