Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Howland Tigers (Warren, OH) and the host Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH), saw Howland's basketball squad wallop Boardman by a tally of 68-38.

With the victory, Howland improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Harding (Warren, OH) to confront the Raiders in a Lake Erie - Lake challenge on Wednesday, January 26. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Harding won 38-36 in their recent non-league challenge against East (Youngstown, OH)

Next up, the Spartans confront the Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) in a All-American challenge, on Wednesday, January 26. Boardman will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record.
