In Monday's non-league outing, the St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL), by a margin of 52-30.

The North Stars (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Tigers go into the DuKane outing with a 6-14 record. In their last outing, Wheaton-Warrenville South was trounced by South Elgin (South Elgin, IL), 39-38, in a non-league outing.

The Bears now own a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Stevenson for a North Suburban outing on Friday, January 20. Lake Zurich will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 47-46 league win over Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL). The Patriots record now stands at 16-8.
