The Mustangs (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL). The Storm come into the Three Rivers - Rock challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Bureau Valley was beaten by Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL), 21-7, in a non-league challenge.
The Comets now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockridge for a Three Rivers - Rock challenge on Friday, October 4. Newman Central Catholic will meet a Rockets team coming off a 48-28 league loss to Fulton (Fulton, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 2-3.
