Ohio High School Basketball - Delta overwhelms North Central
January 29, 2024: Pioneer, OH 43554 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Delta Panthers (Delta, OH) and the host North Central Eagles (Pioneer, OH), saw Delta's basketball squad wallop North Central by a count of 49-7.
With the victory, Delta upgrades its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Swanton (Swanton, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Northwest Ohio challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Swanton lost 66-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Defiance (Defiance, OH)
Next up, the Eagles play the Edon Bombers (Edon, OH) in a Buckeye Border challenge, on Thursday, February 1. North Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 40-33 league loss to Stryker (Stryker, OH).
