The Hughes BIG RED (Cincinnati, OH) football defeated the host Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH), 21-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the BIG RED face the Badin Rams (Hamilton, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 15. Hughes will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 35-2 non-league win over Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH).

The Hornets (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Washington (Washington Courthouse, OH). The Blue Lions enter the non-league bout with a 3-1 record. In their last bout, Washington defeated Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH), 48-18, in a non-league bout.
