The Payson Longhorns football team (Payson, AZ), was ripped 65-27 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Snowflake Lobos (Snowflake, AZ)

The Lobos (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Show Low (Show Low, AZ). The Cougars come into the IV Section V challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Show Low trounced Fountain Hills (Fountain Hills, AZ), 49-28, in a league challenge.

The Longhorns now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a IV Section V challenge on Friday, October 24. Payson will meet a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 54-0 league win over Globe (Globe, AZ). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-4.
