The Sanford-Fritch Eagles football team (Fritch, TX), was beaten 24-0 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX)

The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gruver (Gruver, TX). The Greyhounds come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Gruver achieved victory over Spearman (Spearman, TX), 24-20, in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host West Texas for a 2A-1 Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, October 7. Sanford-Fritch will meet a Comanches team coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Lockney (Lockney, TX). The Comanches record now stands at 3-2.
