The Shamrock Irish basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Wheeler Mustangs to 40 in the Irish league triumph on Tuesday.

The Irish now sport a 7-17 record.

The Mustangs (16-14) will now prepare for their contest against Quanah (Quanah, TX). The Indians enter the 2A Region I District 2 contest with a 19-16 record. In their last contest, Quanah was outscored by Clarendon (Clarendon, TX), 55-34, in a league contest.
