In Friday's league outing, the Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) basketball squad beat the host Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL), by a margin of 42-24.

The Railsplitters (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Rock Island (Rock Island, IL). The Rocks go into the non-league outing with a 15-6 record. In their last outing, Rock Island defeated Galesburg (Galesburg, IL), 79-48, in a league outing.

The Pioneers now own a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bloomington Central Catholic for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 20.
