January 14, 2023: La Jolla, CA 92037 The San Dieguito Academy Mustangs basketball team (Encinitas, CA), was overwhelmed 69-44 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA)
The Vikings now possess a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Escondido Charter for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 19. La Jolla will confront a White Tigers team coming off a 53-48 league win over Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA). The White Tigers record now stands at 8-7.
The Mustangs (1-15) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA). The Sundevils come into the battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Mt. Carmel trounced Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA), 72-49, in a non-league battle.
